Your use of this service is subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Safety Pilot Club is owned and operated by Real-Neighborhoods, LLC.
Safety Pilot Club may at any time amend these Terms and Conditions and modify its services available to members. An amended Terms and Conditions will be emailed and made available online to members and will be effective immediately upon emailing.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. If any provision of the agreement is determined by a court to be void, invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the enforceability of the other provisions of the agreement will not be affected. Failure by Safety Pilot Club to enforce any provision of this agreement will not constitute a waiver of the right to later enforce it.
- Defined Terms
- Safety Pilot Club - Is a web page project of Real-Neighborhoods,LLC.
- Member(s) - Or customer(s) are registered users of the web site. Members may be pilots, student pilots or non-pilots.
- Registration - The signup process by which a user becomes a member.
- Safety Pilot - A licensed pilot who flies as a co-pilot while the left seat pilot flies a simulated instrument approach. Flying with a Safety Pilot can save a tremendous amount of money but several FAA restrictions apply.
- Rideshare - Sharing the costs of a cross country flight. This can save a tremendous amount of money but several FAA restrictions
- Student pilot mentor - An experienced pilot who mentors a student pilot through the process of flight training.
- Profile - Each member has a profile that displays their personal bio, pilot information, and reasons for joining Safety Pilot Club.
Safety Pilot Club Service
This website provides a contact point and networking for Private pilots, commonly referred to as General Aviation pilots. Pilots will create profiles and get in touch with other pilots for the purpose of sharing the expenses of training and travel.
Non intrusive advertisements will provide links to aviation related products and services. These banner advertisements are specifically selected for the expected needs of site members.
One time activation fee of $14.95. Other promotions may be offered but all members receive full access to the site.
- Members of Safety Pilot Club are expected to:
- Represent themselves honestly.
- Assume that inherent dangers in General Aviation do exist. Members assume all risks for this activity.
- Promote proficiency and safe behavior in General Aviation. The pilot in command of any aircraft is responsible to comply with all FAA regulations.
- Show due respect to other members of the site at all times.
- Members will NOT: use profanity or racial slurs.
- Members will NOT: display pornographic images or any type of vulgarity.
- Members will NOT: install any software on SafetyPilotClub.com or its hosting provider. Any attempts to alter or sabotage the contents of SafetyPilotClub.com or any Real-Neighborhoods products or services will result in criminal prosecution.
- Members will NOT: use or resell any of Safety Pilot Club services for commercial purposes.
- Members will NOT: attempt to sabotage, disrupt, or alter the source code on the SafetyPilotClub.com website.
- Members will NOT: use this site to harvest information about other members for sale to a 3rd party.
- Members agree to report any issues, concerns, and/or feedback to Safety Pilot Club directly via email.
Violation of any of these rules may result in cancellation of member's access to the website. Safety Pilot Club will give written notification of a cancelled membership via email. Cancelled memberships may not be entitled to a refund of activation fee.
The goal of Safety Pilot Club is to help keep general aviation strong and vibrant. The general aviation pilot population is dwindling. Minimizing the costs associated with aviation is instrumental in keeping pilots flying.
The services and information from this Site are for informational and personal enjoyment purposes only. They are to be used at your own risk, with no obligation or liability of any type from Safety Pilot Club.
Limitation of Liability
Services are provided by Real Neighborhoods LLC, doing business as Safety Pilot Club, without warranty of any kind either express or implied. Safety Pilot Club, its agents, affiliates, service providers, suppliers, content providers and advertisers disclaim any and all implied warranties regarding Safety Pilot Club and the information obtained therefrom, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Neither Safety Pilot Club nor any of its partners, agents, affiliates, suppliers, content suppliers or advertisers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or relating to any use of any kind of Safety Pilot Club services.
Per FAA regulations, the pilot in command of an aircraft is solely responsible and is the primary decision maker as to the operation of that aircraft.
Safety Pilot Club shall not be liable to members or non-members, through their use of Safety Pilot Club services, allegedly as a cause for software or hardware damage to members computer, computer viruses, corruption of files, delays in operation, or other defects. Safety Pilot Club does not employ spyware or adware in their advertising services. Any occurrences of viruses, spyware, and/or adware completely unintentional.
Safety Pilot Club and Real-Neighborhoods, LLC does not in any way guarantee members on this site will find a rideshare, a safety pilot or a student pilot mentor. We do not in anyway guarantee membership on this site will save pilots money. This site only offers the suggestion and possibility of saving money, flying more, and getting more advanced ratings.
Safety Pilot Club will not be responsible for any loss or damage to property or person between the Site and any customer. Customer agrees to hold Safety Pilot Club harmless from any and all liability arising from the use of the Site.
The member accepts that the use of this website is strictly for educational, recreational, and informative purposes. No validation of membership information is performed by the administrator of this site. The member accepts all responsibility for verifying a pilot's certifications and qualifications.
The member accepts that General Aviation can be a dangerous activity. All actions in such an endeavor carry with it an accepted and understood risk. Therefore, the final decision to fly with another pilot for, any purposes, belongs solely to the user of this website.
The member agrees to validate the pilot in commandís certifications prior to each flight. If the member has any confusion in how to assess a pilotís certification, qualifications, and/or currency they must consult a local Fixed Base Operator or Fight Standards District Office. All members are expected to personally validate the identities of other individuals whom they fly with.
The member agrees that all pilot certifications, all profile information, and/or all statements made on the message board shall be truthful to the best of their knowledge.
The member agrees not to share their login ID, password, or any other account information with another individual. Membership access and use of this site is strictly limited to the owner of the account.
The member agrees that the website owner will not be responsible for any loss or damage to property or person between the Site and any member.
The member agrees to hold the website provider harmless from any and all liability arising from the use of the Site.
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
